About The Jewish Agency For Israel:

For more than 90 years, The Jewish Agency has been the champion of our Jewish story. Once we achieved our original goal of establishing a secure homeland in Israel, we turned to helping Jews in peril come home. As the needs of the Jewish People continued to change, so did our response. Our mission today is to ensure that every Jewish person, no matter where they are in the world, feels an unbreakable bond to one another and to Israel.

Danielle has worked at The Jewish Agency for more than 25 years, and currently serves as Vice President for Israel and Global Philanthropy and the Founding Director of Christian Friends of The Jewish Agency. In her role, Danielle is responsible for building bridges of friendships and meaningful partnerships between Christian friends of Israel to The Jewish Agency, while working closely in program strategy and implementation with the units of The Agency. Her previous roles include working with former Ambassador to the U.S. Sallai Meridor, serving as an Israeli emissary (Representative/Shlicha) to New York City for the Israel Education Fund, and holding several positions in strategy and development.

Through her work, Danielle has been deeply involved in The Jewish Agency’s Aliyah and absorption initiatives for immigrants from Ethiopia, Ukraine and France; programs for Holocaust survivors; and The Fund for Victims of Terror. Since the horrific terror attacks of October 7th and the continuing war, Danielle has worked tirelessly to fulfill the critical mission of The Jewish Agency—bringing urgent aid and loving support to the thousands of victims of terror. Danielle's efforts focus on initiatives to uplift and strengthen Israel’s defenders; give hope to those who are still evacuated from their homes; provide therapy and mentoring to those traumatized; and stand up to antisemitism by connecting with global Jewish communities and friends of Israel. Danielle has led hundreds of solidarity visits to Israel’s South and North and has brought survivors to the US and Europe on missions of testimony to connect and bring hope to many thousands of people who can then become witnesses to their stories. This is at the core of the work of The Jewish Agency in these days and will be in the many months to come.

Born in Connecticut, Danielle made Aliyah from the United States with her family as a child. She was a commander in the Israeli Air Force and later completed degrees in International Relations, Sociology, and Organizational Counseling, all with distinction, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During Covid, Danielle completed a second MA degree in American
Jewish Studies as part of the Haifa University Ruderman Program. Danielle’s personal and family story has been interwoven with the work of The Jewish Agency for over three generations. She is proud to work for the organization that brought her family to Israel from Iran, inspired her to become a Jewish professional, and that stood by her family in times of tragedy.
